Social publishing
Connecting accounts
Authorising a platform, reconnecting, and holding several accounts per network.
Before connecting
Select the client workspace that should own the account. Your Systemly role must include the social accounts permission, and you must be able to sign in to the provider account with permission to publish for the destination.
A Business or Creator account linked to a Facebook Page.
A Page for which you have sufficient management access.
TikTok
An account that has authorised Systemly's publishing scopes.
The LinkedIn member profile used during authorisation.
YouTube
A Google account with a YouTube channel.
X
The X account that should own the published posts.
A Pinterest business account with at least one board.
Connect an account
- Open Social → Accounts in the correct workspace.
- Select the provider and choose Connect.
- Sign in on the provider's site and approve every requested permission.
- Return to Systemly and confirm the account is shown as connected.
Meta may add several Facebook Pages or linked Instagram accounts in one connection. Pinterest creates one destination for each available board. Other providers normally add the member, channel, or account selected during authorisation.
Read the connection status
A connected account shows its provider identity, connection date, and token status. Some providers also return profile statistics. An expired account cannot publish until it has been authorised again.
Connected
The account can be selected in the composer.
Reconnect
Runs the provider's authorisation flow again and refreshes access.
Expired
The provider rejected or revoked the stored access token.
Needs setup
The Systemly deployment is missing that provider's app credentials.
Reconnect or disconnect
Reconnect after a password change, revoked provider permission, expired token, or account access change. Approve all requested permissions even if the provider says you connected before. Disconnect removes the destination from this workspace and prevents new posts from using it; it does not delete content already published on the network.
When a provider says Needs setup
This is a deployment configuration issue, not an account issue. A Systemly administrator must create the provider application, add its client ID and secret to the deployment, and register the exact callback shown in the provider setup. Reconnecting cannot supply missing application credentials.
