Billing
Accepting payments
Connecting Stripe so you can take money from your own customers.
Connect Stripe to a workspace
- Open Settings → Payments in the workspace that will receive money.
- Select Set up payments and complete Stripe's hosted onboarding. You can sign in to an existing Stripe account or create one.
- Return to Systemly and select Check status. Continue setup if Stripe still needs information.
- Confirm Accepting payments says Yes. Payouts to your bank is shown separately.
Payments go to that workspace's connected Stripe account. Stripe's processing fees apply, and the setup page shows any additional platform fee. If hosted onboarding is unavailable on your deployment, use Connect your own Stripe under Integrations to add your Stripe secret key and, for payment updates, its webhook signing secret.
Create and share a payment link
- Open Payments in the workspace and select New payment link.
- Enter a description and amount in the workspace currency.
- Optionally associate a CRM contact, then select Create link.
- Send the copied Stripe Checkout link to the customer, or copy it again from the pending payment row.
The Payments table shows the amount, contact, and status. Stripe confirms successful payments through webhooks, so a customer returning from Checkout is not by itself proof that the payment cleared. A linked contact receives a payment activity entry when payment succeeds.
After a link is sent
- You can cancel a pending or draft request in Systemly; a completed payment cannot be cancelled there.
- Open Stripe from Settings → Payments to handle refunds, disputes, and payouts.
- Disconnecting Stripe stops new payments until the workspace reconnects.
