Acceptable use policy

Last updated 2 October 2026

Systemly sends email and SMS, publishes to social networks and hosts websites on your behalf. These rules keep that working for every customer, and they form part of the terms.

1. Who this applies to

This policy applies to everyone who uses Systemly: account holders, their team, and agency clients given access to a workspace. If you run an agency, you are responsible for your clients’ use as well as your own. It forms part of the terms & conditions.

2. Email, SMS and messaging

Commercial messages sent through Systemly must comply with the law where the recipient is, including the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), the Do Not Call Register Act 2006 (Cth), CAN-SPAM and the GDPR. In particular, you must:

  • only send commercial messages to people who have consented, expressly or as the law allows it to be inferred, and be able to show that consent if asked;
  • never send to purchased, rented, scraped or harvested lists;
  • identify yourself or your client as the sender, with accurate contact details, and never disguise who a message is from;
  • include a working way to opt out of every commercial message. Systemly adds unsubscribe links and honours STOP replies automatically — you must not remove, hide or work around them, or re-add someone who has opted out without fresh consent;
  • keep subject lines and message content honest and not misleading; and
  • send at a volume and to a list quality that keeps bounce and complaint rates low. We may pause sending from a workspace whose rates put other customers’ delivery at risk.

3. Content you must not send or host

Through messages, social posts, forms, funnels, websites or uploads, you must not distribute content that:

  • is unlawful, or promotes or facilitates illegal activity;
  • is fraudulent, deceptive, or designed to collect passwords or payment details by trickery (phishing);
  • contains malware, or links to it;
  • infringes anyone’s copyright, trade mark, privacy or other rights;
  • sexually exploits or endangers children, in any form;
  • harasses, threatens or incites violence or hatred against any person or group;
  • is sexually explicit, unless lawful, age-gated and permitted by every platform involved; or
  • sells or promotes regulated goods or services — such as weapons, drugs, gambling or financial products — without the licences the law requires.

4. AI features

  • Review what the AI produces before you publish or send it. You are responsible for it.
  • Do not use the AI to create content that breaches this policy, to impersonate a real person, or to produce material designed to mislead people about who or what they are dealing with.
  • Where the law or a platform requires AI-generated content or chatbots to be disclosed, disclose them.

5. Connected platforms

Systemly publishes to social networks and calendars through their official APIs only. You must follow the terms and policies of every account you connect — Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Google and the rest. You must not use Systemly to inflate engagement artificially, run fake accounts, or evade a platform’s limits or enforcement.

6. Security and the service itself

You must not:

  • try to reach another customer’s workspace or data;
  • probe, scan or test the security of the service without our written permission. If you find a vulnerability, report it to legal@systemly.com.au and do not exploit it;
  • share accounts, or resell access to the hosted service without an agreement with us;
  • place an unreasonable load on the service, or use the API or automations to get around plan limits; or
  • use the service to build a competing product by copying it.

7. What we do about a breach

Depending on how serious it is, we may remove content, pause sending, disconnect an integration, suspend a workspace, or close an account. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it. Where the breach is serious, unlawful, or putting other customers or the public at risk, we may act immediately. We may report unlawful activity to the authorities.

8. Reporting abuse

If you have received spam sent through Systemly, or found content hosted on it that breaches this policy, email legal@systemly.com.au with the message or the address of the page. For copyright complaints, follow the copyright and takedown policy.
