Account and workspace IDs

The nine-digit numbers that identify you and each workspace.

What the IDs are

Your account and every workspace carry a nine-digit ID, shown in groups of three such as 108 629 728. Names are not unique; two customers can both be called Smith Plumbing. The ID is how support tells them apart, so quote it whenever you ask for help.

An ID never changes, even when you rename yourself or the workspace. It is random rather than counted up, so it does not reveal how many accounts exist and cannot be guessed from another one.

Find an ID

  • Account ID: at the top of Settings → Profile & security.
  • Workspace ID: at the top of Settings → General in that workspace.

Select the copy button beside either one to copy it without the spaces.

Workspace IDs in links

Every page in a workspace has the workspace ID in its address, for example /w/108629728/crm. Because the ID does not change, a link you share or bookmark today keeps working after the workspace is renamed. Opening a link still reaches only workspaces you are a member of.

Older links that use the workspace name instead of the number still work and forward to the numbered address. Published sites keep their readable /s/workspace/site address, because your visitors see that one.
