Billing
Buying extra AI usage
Custom top-ups, and how they sit alongside the monthly allowance.
Buy a top-up
- Open Settings → Usage & limits in a workspace.
- Under Paid extra usage, enter an amount in AUD from A$5 to A$500.
- Select Buy extra usage and complete the one-off Stripe Checkout payment.
- Return to Usage and check the Paid extra usage balance after payment is confirmed.
Half of each purchase funds provider costs; the rest covers delivery and margin. Only an organisation owner or admin can buy extra usage, and the purchase control appears only when subscription billing is configured. Extra usage is granted after Stripe confirms a paid checkout, not just because the browser returns to Systemly.
How paid extra usage are used
The monthly allowance is spent first. Paid extra usage are shared by the whole organisation, carry over when the included balance resets on the first of each UTC month, and do not expire. Top-ups do not change the plan or its workspace, member, or contact limits.
The balance shown in Usage is organisation-wide; the AI call and token summaries on that page describe the current workspace. Calls using your own provider key consume no Systemly allowance. Learn how calls are metered in Usage and limits and how to connect a key in Bringing your own key.
If the balance has not appeared
Check that Stripe marked the checkout as paid and refresh Usage. A cancelled or unpaid checkout adds no usage. If the payment succeeded but the balance is still missing after a short wait, contact support with the checkout receipt; do not make another purchase just to retry the first one.
